Financial Aid

For financial aid needs — scholarships, grants, loans, student employment — contact the Office of Financial Aid at Kankakee Community College to obtain necessary applications and instructions.
To be eligible to receive aid, most students must be enrolled at least half time in a program of study that leads to a degree or advanced certificate from Kankakee Community College.
If the student has attended other postsecondary schools, an official transcript must be sent directly from all previous schools to the Office of Admissions and Registration at Kankakee Community College (even if no financial aid was received).
Apply for aid well in advance of the anticipated enrollment date.
Aid processing takes 8 to 12 weeks.
